Με χαρά σήμερα η επίσημη πρώτη πρεμιέρα του animation που δημιουργήσαμε! Το να δίνεις κίνηση σε ήδη υπάρχουσες στατικές ζωγραφιές και να έχεις την επιμέλεια μιας ταινίας αναμφίβολλα αποτελεί χώρο έκφρασης απέραντο. Κάναμε ταινία το εθνογραφικό παραμύθι της εθνομουσικολόγου, Αθηνάς Κατσανεβάκη και είμαστε περήφανοι γι’ αυτό! Ένα animation προσεγμένο, που ζωντανεύει μνήμες και πλέκει έναν ιστορικό μύθο από την ιδιαίτερη περιοχή του Βοΐου, βόρεια των Γρεβενών.

Γεγονότα πλεγμένα με ιδιαίτερη φαντασία, δημιουργούν ένα εθνογραφικό παραμύθι, ίσως μοναδικό στα εικαστικά δρώμενα της περιοχής μας. Διήγηση, τραγούδι, τοπική μουσική και δημιουργική φαντασία από την Παράδοση της περιοχής του Βοΐου.

Αποτελεί για εμάς ιδιαίτερη χαρά καθώς κατά το ήμισυ έλκουμε την καταγωγή μας από το Βόιο. Καλοτάξιδο! S+

An Ethnographic Fairy Tale

The Old Castle is a Myth- Paramythi (Fairy Tale) inspired by a “lieux de memoire” in the area of fieldwork of the Ethnomusicologist. It stems from the narratives of the locals, the myths, history, or myth-history, the soundscapes, in the context of ethnomusicology fieldwork. It is the myth of  an Ethnography and for this reason it was named by its creator “An Ethnographic Fairy Tale”. The Myth then of a myth which became a “Paramythi” (A Fairy Tale) in order to embody the context and the atmosphere of a place (space) together with its songs “making” in this way a new “context” that is not the same as the one that existed at the unknown (to us) moment of  their creation. But still contemporary…

“The Old Castle” is a bilingual (Greek with English subtitles) local production presented at two local Festivals, in China and Thailand.
